'SOMETHING ONCE DREAMED'

Freely Written Upon Friday The Thirteenth:

Once when too many trilogies, over the weekend,
Stormed into the magician's stronghold of hidden dreams,
Wet rain, sent washed sleeping spells running out down the drain.

Flying tigers leaped from ev'ry gargoyle's open mind;
Inside, bombs flashed, as the battle roared blind with anger;
Thirteen lucky strikes flamed for hours before his glass eye.

Laser light, star of the scene, shot across the night sky,
On a trip around the universe: red, blue and green,
Which sparked envy, charged aftermath, that flooded the ring.

If only the magician had had a voice to sing,
He could have shattered the trilogies with pleasantries,
But instead, the thirteenth invasion died in his scream.
